The Bachelor of Business (Accounting)

The Bachelor of Business (Accounting) offers you the opportunity for entry into CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia as an associate member upon completion of an appropriate sequence of units. Graduates with this specialisation are qualified to gain employment in accounting practices, medium and large corporations, the public sector and not-for-profit organisations. 
This course gives you options to tailor your learning to your specific needs. All students study a common first year which is complemented in second and third years by specialisations in either two business disciplines, or a single specialisation and an area of study.

CAREERS

Our graduates find employment in a wide range of business professions, including accounting, taxation and auditing. 


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

Applicants are expected to show evidence that they: 
• have obtained an IELTS (academic module result of 6 (no band less than 6) 
• have completed a secondary school qualification equivalent to an Australian Year 12 qualification 
• are aged 18 years or over

• Diploma of Business (Enterprise), up to a year of credit

The Bachelor of Business (Information Systems)

The Bachelor of Business (Information Systems) specialisation focuses on the strategic use, management and development of information systems within an organisation. You will gain the technical and theoretical knowledge required to understand how and why certain information systems are deployed within an organisation. Graduates will understand the use of transactional and data warehouse systems, programming and problem solving techniques, and analysis, design and implementation of information systems. You can attain professional membership of the Australian Computer Society (ACS). This course gives you options to tailor your learning to your specific needs. All students study a common first year which is complemented in second and third years by specialisations in either two business disciplines, or a single specialisation and an area of study.


CAREERS 

There are many career opportunities available for graduates, including systems analyst, programmer and designer, applications developer, database administrator, information systems manager, help-desk manager and network administrator.
